Here is the gift that is going to Zackery's teacher and student teacher. This is another idea I got from Chad and Mary Beth over at Nothing but Country.com.
All I did was hit Walmart and pick up a salsa bowl. They normally have them in the traditional redish brown color, but we found them in lime green, yellow and orange. Zackery liked the lime green one better. And then we picked up Pace Salsa. I didn't notice they are both different until I took the picture. I was going to make my salsa and then bottle it and put a label on it, but it was too late. I always think of the great things when I don't have enough time to run around and get it done.
The PTC sent a letter home stating that tomorrow would be to write a poem to the teacher, but me being me had to set out of the box. I loved this idea of the salsa since tomorrow is Cinco De Mayo.
Next Thursday they are asking us to bring in a flower. The roses are blooming nicely in my yard right now so hopefully we will have some pretty ones to take in.
