Hi Everyone, we have 3 more weeks until school starts. The boys are enjoying the pool. Everyday.. I swear Zackery's color has changed so dramatically. He is so dark. Ryan is coming in a close second. Here they are with Mary-Kate and Drew (who I would adopt in a heartbeat if only their parents would let me keep them)
The house is coming along a lot better, but we are in a standstill with all the paycuts the governor is doing. We are no down to a 15% paycut. We have decided to try to get a home loan modification thru our bank. We are not behind in payments at all, but are fearful that it might just happen with this last 5% paycut. Furlough days-as they are calling it--so far--Dan is working 3 days a month without pay. You know they say they are supposed to take those days off, without the pay, but in a prision there is no way they can. If they happen to get a furlough day off (unlikely it will be approved) then if they work any overtime it is paid as straight time. So where is the benefit.. Most Correctional Officers are trying their best to work overtime to make up for the paycuts. Which in Dan's case is making him a zombie.
